Military and Work Gear It was a cold winter in 1979, when R & S Army Navy opened its doors. We were selling merchandise out of cartons, and it was flying out of the boxes. Customers needed boots, thermals, socks, and anything they could get a hold of to keep themselves warm. Demand grew for work apparel, military supplies, and casual sportsgear. Eventually, we bought out the store next door, and started establishing our business. Update description
